University of Nebraska COVID-19 Leave Options@headingTag>
While the work of the University continues—and remote and flexible work arrangements remain our expectation and first line of defense—we realize not every job can be performed at home.
NU created an emergency paid administrative leave policy, and extended the end date to June 30, 2021, to be used as employees care for their families and attend to their own health.
The policy allows University of ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø employees to take up to 160 hours of paid administrative leave in the event of self-quarantine, quarantine or care of an immediate family member, childcare resulting from school closures, or other scenarios related to COVID-19.
This emergency administrative leave is available to all employees, including student and temporary workers. (Part-time employees will be eligible for a prorated amount of time.)
Information on NU's emergency paid administrative leave can be found below. We will continue to update this page as additional news and information become available. If you have questions, please feel free to contact your campus HR department.
Thank you for all you are doing to move our University forward.
